Pretty Fabrics' brushed cotton sweatshirt is an exceptionally soft and stretchy winter leisure fabric, widely known as French Terry. It has a texture similar to jersey; however, its weave is much stronger, providing greater stability thanks to the tightly knit structure observed on the fabric’s reverse side.
During the manufacturing process, the fabric undergoes additional color and fiber stabilization to ensure durability and impeccable quality. This exclusive material has a weight of 300g/m², making it thick enough for comfortable wear. It is an ideal choice for sweatshirts, tracksuits, jogging suits, leisurewear, hats, scarves, children's clothing, and other textile products. Due to its cotton composition, it is particularly popular in baby textile production and can be combined with solid-colored or ribbed cuffs.
For sewing, it is recommended to use needles designed for elastic fabrics (size 75-90 STRETCH ballpoint needle), depending on the fabric’s weight and delicacy. To maintain the fabric’s stretch properties, zigzag, overlock stitching, and the Z-stitch technique are advised.
The appearance of colours may vary depending on your screen settings, so the actual fabric colour may slightly differ from what is shown. This is not considered a defect!
