Pretty Fabrics' premium PUL with a weight of 180g/m² is an exceptionally durable, flexible, smooth, breathable, and waterproof polyester fabric coated with a polyurethane layer. It is highly resistant to wear and frequent washing. Thanks to its 100% polyester composition and polyurethane coating, it is an ideal choice for products requiring moisture protection, such as reusable nappies, reusable pads, waterproof bags and fabric food wraps.
It is important to note that PUL can be a more environmentally friendly alternative to other plastic-coated fabrics, as it is reusable and has a long lifespan.
It is easy to work with using a standard household sewing machine—simply sew with a straight stitch. To prevent damage to the coating, it is recommended to use a universal or microtex needle. Since PUL does not fray, finishing the seam allowance with a zigzag stitch is generally unnecessary, though this depends on the project type.
The appearance of colours may vary depending on your screen settings, so the actual fabric colour may slightly differ from what is shown. This is not considered a defect!
