Pretty Fabrics’ cotton french terry is an exceptionally soft and stretchy summer leisure fabric, widely known as French Terry. It feels similar to jersey, but its knit structure is much stronger, giving it enhanced stability thanks to the looped weave technique visible on the back side of the fabric.
During production, the fleece undergoes additional color and fiber stabilization to ensure the fabric’s durability and impeccable quality. With an exclusive weight of 300 g/m2, it offers a thickness that ensures comfortable wear. It is an ideal choice for sweatshirts, training sets, joggers, loungewear, hats, scarves, children's clothing, and other textile goods. Due to its cotton composition, it is especially popular in baby textile manufacturing and can be paired with solid or ribbed cuffs and trims.
For sewing, it is recommended to use a needle designed for elastic materials (size 75–90 STRETCH ballpoint needle), depending on the fabric's weight and fineness. To preserve the fabric’s stretchiness, it is advisable to sew with a zigzag stitch, an overlock machine, or use a Z-stitch.
The appearance of colours may vary depending on your screen settings, so the actual fabric colour may slightly differ from what is shown. This is not considered a defect!
